The Platform Built To Help Great Managers Stand Out

Better Guests. Better Stays. Less Guesswork.

Quality over volumeTrust before transactionsFounding managers30 years on this coast

If you've been managing vacation rentals for any length of time, you've probably felt it.

You spend years building a reputation.
You invest in systems. You train your team.
You solve problems before guests ever notice them.
You work hard to create experiences owners can be proud of.

Yet sometimes it feels like the platforms don't see the difference. A property that's been thoughtfully managed for years can end up sitting beside one thrown together in a weekend. A manager who genuinely cares about guest experience can be treated exactly the same as one who doesn't. And when that happens, quality becomes harder to see.

I've felt that frustration too. That's why I started ArcTrips.

Managers Don't Need More Bookings. They Need Better Guests.

Over the years I've operated vacation rentals, guided fishing trips, worked with travelers from around the world, and built tourism businesses on Vancouver Island. I've spent a lot of time talking with hosts and managers, and the conversation often sounds surprisingly similar.

Managers tell me they don't necessarily need more bookings. They need better guests.

  • Guests who appreciate quality.
  • Guests who respect properties.
  • Guests who communicate clearly.
  • Guests who arrive with realistic expectations.
  • Guests who leave reviews that reflect the actual experience.

In other words, they want trust. The best managers share the same values: they care about doing things right, about their owners, about guest experience, about their team's reputation. But many platforms are built primarily to maximize transactions.

The travel industry doesn't have a booking problem. It has a trust problem.

What if there was a platform built to help great managers stand out?

The ARC Difference

I wanted to build something different. A platform that rewards quality. A platform that helps exceptional managers stand out. A platform built around trust. It's in the ARC name. After years in this industry, I came to believe that trust is built on three things.

Accountability

Guests want to know exactly what they're booking; managers want guests who arrive with accurate expectations. When expectations and reality align, everyone wins: fewer misunderstandings, fewer unnecessary complaints, more satisfied guests. Accountability starts before the booking is ever made.

Responsibility

Great managers already take responsibility seriously. ArcTrips is built to do the same: responsive human support, clear communication, and solutions that reflect the situation rather than a script. We built a system that incentivizes great managers, and rewards them for repeat customers.

Connection

The right guest isn't simply someone who books. It's someone who appreciates what you've built and respects the experience. Connection is about helping the right guests find the right properties before the reservation ever happens, because when the fit is right, hosting becomes easier and great stays become repeat stays.

Repeat Guests, And Appreciative New Guests

One thing I've learned over the years is that not every booking is a good booking. Most professional managers don't need more visibility. They need the right visibility.

The goal isn't attracting everyone. The goal is attracting travelers who value quality.

Travelers who care about experiences.

They come for the trip, not just the room. They arrive knowing what the days ahead are worth.

A manager welcoming arriving guests at the door of a property.

Travelers who appreciate great hospitality.

They notice the care you put in. And they say so, in reviews that reflect the whole stay.

Travelers who respect the properties they're staying in.

They treat a property the way they treat their own home. Turnover is quieter, and so is your week.

That's who we're building ArcTrips to attract.

A More Thoughtful Review System

I've seen great properties receive unfair reviews. I've seen outstanding managers judged on isolated moments that didn't reflect the overall experience.

That's why we're building the ARC Review System, designed to encourage fair, balanced feedback that reflects the complete experience, not just a single moment.

Because great managers deserve to be recognized for the experience they consistently provide.

For managers and hosts

Recognition earned. Reviews reflect the experience you consistently deliver, not one difficult day.

For guests

Fair, complete feedback. Questions reflect the whole stay, so feedback is honest and easy to act on.

Great Experiences Create Better Guests

I spent a lot of time around travelers (on a fishing trip, a whale watching excursion, a hiking adventure, a family vacation), and I've noticed something.

People who are excited about their trip behave differently. They're more engaged. More appreciative. More respectful.

That's one reason ArcTrips is becoming more than a booking platform. We're building a trusted source for outdoor travel, destination recommendations, guides, and memorable experiences. Because when guests arrive excited about the adventure ahead, it creates a better experience for everyone involved.

And after a day spent exploring, fishing, hiking, or experiencing nature, a great property becomes even more valuable. It's where guests relax, reconnect, and recharge.

The best properties don't simply provide accommodation. They elevate the entire trip.

Evenings that end well.

Great Experiences Deserve Great Places To Return To

I've spent enough time helping travelers explore incredible places to know something important. People rarely remember a trip because of a booking confirmation.

  • They remember the moments.
  • The fish they caught. The whale they saw.
  • The trail they explored.
  • The family memories they created.

But having a great place to return to at the end of the day elevates the entire experience.

  • A place where families gather.
  • A place where guests recharge.
  • A place where stories are shared over dinner.
  • A place that feels like part of the adventure itself.

The best properties don't simply provide accommodation. They become part of the memory.

That's why ArcTrips brings together exceptional stays, trusted guides, outdoor experiences, and local knowledge. Because when everything works together, the experience becomes something guests remember for years.

Adventure Hubs

The future of travel isn't just about where people stay. It's about what they do while they're there.

If You Believe What I Believe

If you believe trust matters…
If you believe quality should matter more than volume
If you believe great hospitality deserves to be recognized…
If you believe the right guests are more valuable than more guests…

Then we may be building ArcTrips for you.

We're not trying to create the biggest collection of properties. We're building a community of managers, hosts, guides, and travelers who believe travel should be built on trust.

Become a Founding Manager

Right now, I'm inviting a select group of professional managers to help shape the future of ArcTrips. Not because we need more listings, but because we're looking for managers who share the values we're building around.

Quality.Trust.Accountability.Responsibility.Connection.

If that sounds like you, I'd love to have a conversation. Because great managers deserve to stand out. And travelers deserve to find them.

Built for managers who built something worth staying in.
